NRL Ltd, specialists in recruiting engineering and construction personnel, has opened an office in Glasgow.

Recruitment business NRL Ltd has seen its levels of in-house permanent staff increase by 23% over a 12 month period ending 31^st December 2011, with employee numbers shooting up from 88 to 108.

NRL Ltd has recently gained membership of the Association of Professional Staffing Companies. APSCo membership is viewed as a sign of high professional standards and the vetting process for applicants is stringent.

Jim Taylor, the Divisional Manager of NRL Rail, has been appointed a Director to the NRL Ltd Board, with effect from 1^st January 2012.

The Falkirk branch of NRL has taken on two new people as business continues to expand for the privately owned company.

Recruitment company NRL are now deep into their fourth year as an employment business member of the Engineering Construction Industry Association (ECIA), and the decision to go down this route has proved wise, due to the major engineering construction projects to which NRL have been able to supply people as a result.

The ECIA divisions at NRL Egremont, Washington and Wigan are all currently supplying to sites such as Sellafield and Pembroke CCGT new build power station.

NRL, one of the first trade and technical recruitment agencies to open in the North East back in the 1980s, has significantly expanded their Construction Trades division which supplies builders and many other workers to this sector.

NRL Ltd has recently opened an office in London; its first in the south of the country. The office, located in Bressenden Place, SW1 is the base of David Redmayne, who is responsible for business development as well as looking after existing NRL projects in the South East.
