NRL Ltd has recently opened an office in London; its first in the south of the country. The office, located in Bressenden Place, SW1 is the base of David Redmayne, who is responsible for business development as well as looking after existing NRL projects in the South East.
NRL, which specialises in trade and technical recruitment, was established in 1983 and with its £70m turnover,
has projects nationwide.
Until now all six of its offices have been in the north of England and in Scotland, including a head office in Dovenby, Cumbria.
David Redmayne says: “Having a base in London means that we can provide the same hands-on control to projects in the South East as we currently supply to those elsewhere in the country. It’s convenient for our clients knowing that we can be at their site within one or two hours and can easily attend meetings.”
Mike Barber, NRL’s managing director, says: “Extending our office network to include London also brings home to companies we don’t yet work with that we have a presence in the area. We’ve supplied people to many projects in Greater London and the Home Counties over the last 25 years. The new London office reinforces this capability.”

NRL provided key support to our FGD projects, supplying a lot of experienced people at short notice. The programme for delivering the FGD was extremely challenging, resulting in rapid mobilisation of significant numbers of tradespeople. NRL were able to support SEC's requests for additional resources in a co-ordinated and professional manner. Equally impressive was NRL's co-operation in the demobilisation of operatives, always within the spirit of the NAECI and adhering to employment legislation.

We have enjoyed a very close and open relationship since1990, and I commend NRL as a truly capable and experienced recruitment company able to provide no-nonsense, quality, value-for-money recruitment.

NRL have been providing the radiography service for AMEC for several years now at the Sellafield site. I have found them to be reliable, flexible and professional in carrying out their duties in what is sometimes a very tight timescale. I look forward to carrying on this relationship in the future and would recommend them to other companies.

NRL have continued to provide a high level of service to Jordan Nuclear Ltd and have the ability to react at short notice to meet our client demands.

I engaged NRL to supply a key team of operatives to support our new build CCGT project in Pembroke. NRL supplied a qualified and experienced team of operatives who have worked efficiently on our project and enabled my department to deliver our part of the project on budget. The NRL team are always available and regularly attended site to deliver team meetings and tool box talks. When it came to demobilising the site team, NRL carried this out with the minimum of fuss and no disruption to the project. NRL maintained exceptional industrial relations on the project. I highly commend them and look forward to working with them on future projects.
