NRL are currently recruiting for a Cable Puller at Fort Augustus Substation in the Highlands. Start ASAP - end of June initially £18.50/hr PAYE or Umbrella (no CIS or Ltd.) Substation experience, CSCS and Manual Handling is essential.
Brief Role Description:
Installation/Pulling of multicore and small power cables within substation environment and substation containment, for example: cable tray, cable ladder, pre-installed ducting, cable troughs both precast and existing.
• Hours of work and shift pattern Min 50 hours however preference is to be available for weekend working, not guaranteed however is likely
• Experience required, certification etc. - Working within Substations
• General safety qualification (CSCS or equivalent), Manual handling, 1 day first aid, CPCS/or equivalent and asbestos awareness
• Duration of placement (start and end date) ASAP till end of Jue initially
• Salary (daily/hourly) £18.50 per hour PAYE/Umbrella
• Expenses (yes or no) No
• PPE requirement (if any) FR/ARCH retardant overalls, hard hats, safety glasses, safety boots, gloves.
