NRL are currently recruiting for a Citrix Cloud DevOps to work with a client of ours, to work on an initial 6-month contract, based in Aldgate, London.
Role Responsibilities:
Reviewing and understanding Requirements and Use Cases.
Reviewing and understanding business application data base structures as related to Citrix deployments
Developing Citrix landscape deployment processes that deliver the required application services within the overall Citrix solution roadmap
To deliver parent company programme governance requirements as required
To consider programme legacy and in all decision making in the same way as cost, risk and time
To look for ways to encourage innovative thinking around how to improve legacy benefits
To hold health, safety, security and wellbeing (HSSW) as a key programme value and to participate in the creation, development and implementation of HSSW strategies by the programme leadership team
What you’ll need:
Work experience with Citrix CLI, PowerShell, ARM Templates and Terraform.
Work experience with implementation of Citrix Networking, Identity Management, and Citrix PaaS Services.
Work experience with Citrix Desktops, Citrix Workspace, Citrix on Azure VD
You hold certification(s) for Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Azure Solution Architect Expert, or Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
Experience with deploying infrastructure applications through CI/CD pipeline.
Cloud monitoring Experience with Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Understanding of Azure DevOps configuration and management.
Experience with working with integrated teams requiring collaboration and customer relationships.
Detail-oriented, organised, self-motivated, and self-sufficient.
Strong business writing and verbal communication skills.
Document Management System expertise
Demonstrates collaborative behaviours and is customer oriented
Linux System Administration
Experience in working with enterprise scale applications, API Gateways, high availability architectures, load balancing & disaster recovery
Knowledge of CitPrivate cloud hosting solutions
Knowledge of modern infrastructure practices and delivering automation
Proficient skill scripting in PowerShell.
Strong Linux/Windows and Web Stack Administration
Version control e.g. GitHub
Deployment of Citrix solution components utilising Azure orchestration and configuration management tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Ansible Experience with Azure native logging & monitoring technologies.
Configuration management with at least one of Ansible, Chef, Puppet or Saltstack.
Previous professional experience working on Citrix cloud platform with solid troubleshooting skills
Multiple examples of deploying Citrix cloud services as a part of overall digital transformation programmes
Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services
Demonstrable experience with Citrix Secure Workspace Access, Analytics for Performance & Security Bundle, Virtual Apps & Desktops Service, SaaS Virtualization (Cloud), Secure Internet Access Advanced User
Demonstrable experience with Cloud Networking, Governance, BC/HA/DR, and Security.
Strong foundation in software development and configuration life cycles, experience with Citrix toolsets within the Azure services, DevOps tools and processes, Terraform, Ansible, and other automation tools/platforms.
Knowledge of Microsoft CAF
Demonstrable experience of working to tight schedules and complex working environments.
Team player with the ability to work closely with peers and within dispersed project teams
Familiarity with the construction / infrastructure / design industry software applications from the Citrix configuration and deployment perspective.
