NRL are currently recruiting for a Commercial Coordinator on a permanent basis for one of our clients based in Sheffield working as part of a family run business, who provide multi-discipline industrial services, technical expertise, and industry knowledge.
The role is full-time Monday to Friday 42.5 hours and fully office based in Sheffield; the role also has periodic requirements for additional travel, including overnight trips, for the purpose of site and Client visits the costs for which are covered by the Company.
About the role:
- Evaluating and submitting variation claims
- Preparing and submitting payment applications
- Supporting the Commercial Manager as required
- Site visits to assist Project Managers
- Presenting financial performance key information to your Contact Managers
- Identifying incorrect contract costings and requesting corrections with the Clients
- Assisting with analysis and reporting of cost and cash flow vs budget
- Commercial project administration duties
- Producing detailed cost summaries for major projects
- Organising project documentation
- Producing and maintaining contract files
- Submitting invoices in a timely manner and in accordance with contract terms
- Maintaining and updating project value summary spreadsheet
The person we are looking for this role should be hard working, dedicated and have experience in the following:
- Proficient in Excel – using advanced formulas
- Experience of industrial construction
- Experience on construction sites
- Experience of contracting
- Qualification in Quantity surveying – desired but not essential
- Full Valid UK driving licence
