We have an opportunity for two Mechanical Estimators/Trainee to join our clients Sunderland, to effectively utilise skills, experience and knowledge within a team environment to produce tenders which will win profitable work.
We are looking for both a mechanical and electrical estimator with M&E experience in the Construction industry along with cost planning and bid management skills. The ability to work independently to strict time constraints is essential together with strong relationships with the local supply chain.
Key Accountabilities include:
Estimating processes and procedures required to deliver a tender
Work with surveyors in preparation of quantified schedule of rates
Produce labour tender costs from base information and detailed prelim costs
Prepare detailed tender costs and tender summaries and attend start-up, mid-tender and settlement meetings
To be successful in the role you will have the ability to work independently within a team environment, have professional communication skills and be results driven.
