NRL are currently recruiting for a Facilities Management Coordinator to work with a client of ours, a leading supplier of industrial gases. This is role will be on an initial 6-month contract, based in Worcester.


Responsibilities:

Safety

  • Full engagement in Team BSP Activity

    • Attendance at Level III Sequential Safety Meetings

    • BSP tasks to include short term contractor safety assessments

    • Attendance at Site Safety Meeting

  • Co-ordinate on-site activities during annual Safety Week

  • Co-ordinate annual Health Surveillance Screening for all affected employees

  • Support the review of the APSAM safety and environmental process to ensure compliance with our client’s documentation and standards

  • Co-ordinate annual Flu Jab clinics 


Vendor Supervision and Operational Excellence

  • Vendor Management including purchase requisition raising and purchase order expediting and working with Procurement to review supplier performance; pricing, efficiency, reliability, quality etc, whilst developing strong relationships with key suppliers to drive performance improvement

  • Control purchasing functions for the Facilities goods and services procured including requisitioning and CC and EForm payment

  • Invoice query resolution

  • Source, review and accept RAMS prior to onsite works being scheduled

  • Complete and issue permits for repeat PM tasks not on the exemption register and for ad-hoc corrective maintenance as required

  • Manage the Contractor Induction programme



General Facilities Management Task Co-ordination

  • To manage the SAP Planned Maintenance and Corrective Repair requirements of the site on time and to specification including but not limited to

    • All appropriate inspection and testing regimes are executed in line with regulatory compliance (maintaining the site’s legal compliance).

    • Ensure evacuation arrangements are in place at the Worcester site

    • Schedule annual First Aid and on site Fire Extinguisher Training

    • Control Waste Management Plan for the site ensuring all general, WEE, confidential and scrap waste is collected regularly and disposed of responsibly

    • Complete onsite Utilities checks, emergency lighting, fire alarm, water, legionella etc

    • Maintain Equipment Registers to support Planned Maintenance checks; PAT, FAT, Ladder, racking etc…


Wider Support (occasional)

  • Provide break cover for Reception

  • Process Workshop Equipment Prep Sheets



Requirements:

  • Strong communication and admin skills, being highly organised, numerate and accurate, with understanding of SAP SD, MM and PP Modules

  • Knowledge of procurement functions

  • Able to work across the business, forming good working relationships at all levels

  • Able to work under own initiative and take ownership of the facility where required
