NRL’s client is looking to recruit an HSE Officer for a 9 month contract to be based on site in Derby. This is offered on an Umbrella/PAYE basis.
About the role:
- To develop and deliver site specific HS&E inductions to new starts on site.
- To assist in the compilation and delivery of tool box talks to all site employees
- Attend and positively contribute to all client safety meetings
- To keep up to date with the programme of works ensuring a targeted schedule of workplace HS&E inspections is developed, maintained with any resultant trends discussed with Site Manager.
- In conjunction with the site management team, identify and ensure delivery of ongoing HS&E awareness training
- To establish in a timely manner, maintain and periodically review the location SHE Management System to ensure site operations comply
- Promote a positive attitude towards HS&E matters during the contracted work.
- In conjunction with the Site Manager develop & deploy site based SHE awareness campaigns / improvement initiatives
- To provide the site team with up to date advice on current legislation
What you will need:
- Extensively experienced HSE Advisor Ability to engage effectively and co-ordinate large numbers of subcontractors.
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- Ideally be an associate member of IOSH/IIRSM or IEMA
