NRL are working with a leading manufacturing company who are enjoying a period of growth right now.
They now require a Maintenance and Facilities Engineer to join their team, this is a permanent staff position.
The role will include fault-finding activities, timely repairs and where applicable source and control appropriate external contractors/suppliers of equipment and or services to support in specialist areas.
You will have a minimum of NVQ level 3 in mechanical, electrical, facility/construction or maintenance engineering qualification (or equivalent), at least 5 years maintenance/engineering experience with at least 1-years supervisory experience and an understanding of ISO 9000, IOSH/NEBOSH. ISO 13485 & ISO 18001 preferred.
You will have experience of:
planning and delivery of preventative and reactionary maintenance of facility and production equipment.
Good working knowledge of GMP and Safe Ways of Working
EHS requirements and process safety
High level, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical principles, and theory of operation to ensure systems are working in accordance with the appropriate HSE and government regulations.
Clear understanding of PLC systems and ability to interpret electrical drawings.
This is a day shift role Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00
