About the role:
- The scope of this role is to work with key stakeholders within the Land Programme, Remediation and Environmental/Planning teams to develop key strategies and processes that will provide effective management of spoil arisings from construction related activities.
- Sort, segregation and classification of material.
- Find temporary storage solutions on site.
- Re-use of material for site construction activities
- Establishing arrangements to use material from Nuclear site at other facilities.
- Developing processes to transfer material to third party clients.
- Looking at innovation in concrete production and the re-use and import of concrete waste.
What experience you will need:
- Establish processes and system for the segregation and classification of material on site subject to approval by the appropriate Nuclear site governance and control measures for material management.
- Identify areas for temporary storage/ silos to be used for either re-use/ export.
- Working on Nuclear sites and with Key stakeholders to develop the systems and processes that will allow the export and import of materials from/to Nuclear sites across the clients' estates.
- Develop the processes/ systems that will allow this Nuclear site to export material to third parties.
- Review the potential for the re-use of concrete either generated on site or other sites or external third parties.
