NRL are currently on the lookout for 2 Mobile Plant Operative’s to work the either the night or day shifts on an initial 3-month contract based at the Waste Management Park in Cambridge.
Key Responsibilities:
- The safe operation of mobile plant.
- The efficient operation of mobile plant.
- Follow health, safety, environment and quality policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Carrying out pre-use checks and recording via Checkedsafe.
- Verbally report any safety critical defects to Shift Supervisor.
- Adding defects and damages to Checkedsafe when they occur during shift.
- Report close calls, property damage and environmental incidents to the Shift Supervisor (relevant & timely).
- Completing relevant work orders during daily cleaning downtime.
- Logging relevant damages and breakdowns on Pirana Asset Management System.
- Relevant NPORS qualification (Training can be provided for the right candidate)

- COSHH familiarisation
- Safe use of tools and equipment.
- Possibly temp to perm role
