NRL’s client are looking to recruit a Process Engineer on a longterm contract basis to join them in Glasgow. 

About the role:

  • The Process Engineer will be a highly motivated individual responsible for Process Engineering & Design on projects, working with the Head of Process Engineering to establish and continuously evaluate the process and design safety procedures and systems as part of the development and growth of the department.
  • ELD (P&ID) updates to existing.
  • Data sheet production (control valves, vessels, pumps, heat exchangers etc)
  • Instrument Process Data Sheets
  • Line Lists
  • Tie in Schedules
  • Relief calcs, hydraulic calcs, control valve sizing, pump sizing
  • Hazardous Area Reviews
  • Hazop attendance as project process engineer
  • Checking of all relevant activities above
What you will need? 
  • Required: Chemical Engineering Degree, Detailed experience of Hydrocarbon Sector and/ or Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Sectors
  • Process Safety in Design Experience in contracting project environment
  • Familiarity with analysis tools Technical Competence within Process Industry Detailed understanding of the design process in a multi-disciplinary project environment

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in Process Eng. modeling systems, Commercial awareness.
  • uccessful track record of working in multi-discipline teams on complex, large projects to achieve successful outcome Exposure to consultancy,
  • Feed/Detail Design and EPC/EPCM contracts Construction/Commissioning experience within Oil, Gas and Chemical processing industries.
