NRL currently have a requirement for a Project Controller to support nuclear projects at a power station in Dungeness, Kent. 

The applicant must have previous Project Controls/Cost Engineering experience. SAP experience is preferable.

Responsibilities:
  • Report to the Project Controller on all matters relating to the provision of a project controls management function
  • Work with the project management / control team to support the provision of the highest quality project controls support to satisfy Cavendish Nuclear and Joint Venture specific Commercial or Customer requirements.
  • Liaison with the project management / control team to support provision of optimum cost and scheduled performance.
  • Support to production of Lifetime Plan / bid development / Detailed Delivery Schedule - Scope, Schedule, Cost Estimates and risk management plans;
  • Support production of Monthly Reports – to include accurate status, progress summary text, accurate assessment of Accruals, progress against Performance Based Incentives (PBIs)
  • Support production of variance analyses (both for schedule and cost), recovery plans where appropriate, estimates at completion (EAC), estimates to completion (ETC) Key issues, Key Risks, progress against Key Metrics, progress against Key Milestones, progress against Performance Based Incentives (PBIs),
  • Support production of Trend analysis;
  • Support production of Change Control;
  • Support production of Identification of Value for Money Savings and the capture of evidence and production of claims;
  • Support the team in provision of project controls support in the form of estimating, planning, cost engineering and cost accounting is maintained to the highest quality and conforms to Cavendish Nuclear procedures and standards.
