Our client has a requirement for a CIVIL ENGINEERING QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER:
Rochester - Staff position

About the role:

  • Ensures the monitoring and recording of the execution of work relating to its field of activity in accordance with the applicable codes, procedures and Drawings.
What you will need:
  • Check the on-site  -  workshop application of quality procedures, particularly in the civil engineering activity.
  • Participate in the development of Inspection & Test Plans ITP’s
  • Ensure compliance with ITPs related to its activity
  • Ensure the quality of work execution during all the construction phase
  • Perform the final quality inspections, issue the necessary Punch list.
  • issue the necessary inspection reports when Contractor responsibility or in addition to the inspection carried out by the subcontractors.
  • Validates inspection reports relating to his field ,when under contract/Subcontractor.
  • Ensures that reports are issued on time
  • Performs material receptions of incorporable and ensures that the storage meets the requirements of the project and vendor
  • Records on the SharePoint all the reports required for monitoring
  • Checks and ensures that the corrections indicated in the NCRs are followed up and closed on the scheduled date, in his field of activity
  • Assists in the review of subcontractor procedures
  • Check the compilation of the construction documentation (compilation of the records, markup drawings.
  • Inform the Purchaser/Client of upcoming inspections
  • inform his superiors on a daily basis of the activities carried out and any discrepancies observed.
