Rail Apprentice - Barnsley and UK wide
The Rail Apprentice role is a multi-disciplined role designed to provide a great introduction to develop a range of technical skills to work within the sector. The successful candidate will be trained in grinding, signalling and maintenance, which are the core elements of our Rail business.
Based out of our Barnsley hub, reporting to the Rail Operations Manager, you will be required to work nights and weekends covering a range of contracts - whilst also attending college over a 3-year period to gain a recognised qualification within the rail industry.
Due to the nature of the work, you will be required to work weekends, nights and public holidays when required. As our clients are nationwide, you will also be required to work away from home for prolonged periods where necessary (all travel costs and expenses will be covered by the company). A company van will be issued.
