About The Role:
- To lead the Process Engineering delivery of the project, reporting to the SNM Projects Process RE.
- To define the strategy and scope of work to be delivered in conjunction with the RE/AEM.
- To lead the Process concept and preliminary design activities including delivery of process documentation and calculations.
- Liaise with SNM Technical dept. and CoEs to gather supporting data and evidence to support the design process.
- Input to the development of the Safety Case and contribute as required to substantiation.
- Develop the DSEAR assessment for the chosen option and assist with its implementation by the project.
- Delivery and Level 3 checking of process documentation including, but not limited to:
- Process Description & Control Philosophy
- PFD
- Response to HAZOP 1 actions
- Basis of Process Safety
- DSEAR
- Calculations
- TRL Assessments
- Design Support including, but not limited to:
- Thermal Modelling
- Attending and recording Stakeholder Meeting
- Cross discipline review of design intent
- Input to design of other disciplines.
- Development of safety case
- Prep and attend HAZOP 1
