NRL are looking to recruit a WIP Mechanical Construction/Piping Engineer to join an industry leader in the nuclear industry to join their team on a permanent basis in Bridgwater.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station’s 2,500 rooms.

About the role:
  • To act as the piping discipline lead for a specified area of the build onsite
  • To work within the New Build and Advanced Technologies business unit
  • To deliver complex installation of cabling and pipework


What you will need:
  • Previous experience working in nuclear or on major construction projects
  • Previous experience in working on complex piping projects in a regulated construction environment
  • Degree qualified in a mechanical discipline or possessing equivalent experience
  • Will need to undergo BPSS clearance
  • (Desirable) IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH
  • Relevant Professional Accreditation (PM, Construction, Engineering)
