We’re looking for experienced Pipefitters to work across multiple UK power station sites, including Langage, Didcot and Seabank. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified professionals with CCNSG certification and a recognised pipefitting qualification to join large-scale boiler package projects.

Salary
  • Basic Days: £23.45
  • Basic Nights: £29.66
  • OT1: £32.83
  • OT2: £42.21
  • Travel & Lodge allowance: Provided 

Location and Working Pattern
  • Various sites, including Langage, Didcot and Seabank. Work is on-site. 

Client Overview
  • Our client operates within the energy sector, supporting power generation and boiler-based projects requiring skilled engineering professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret and apply engineering drawings and isometric diagrams for accurate pipe layout and installation
  • Fabricate, cut, and prepare pipe sections using manual and powered tools to meet project specifications
  • Assemble, align, and install pipework systems including supports, hangers, and brackets around boiler units
  • Install and connect piping for the transport of steam, fluids, and gases within boiler systems and associated plant
  • Ensure correct jointing methods including welded, threaded, bolted, and clamped connections in line with quality standards
  • Carry out hydrostatic or pneumatic pressure testing to confirm system integrity and compliance
  • Work to all health, safety, and environmental protocols, including confined space and working at height safety procedures
  • Collaborate with welders and other engineering disciplines to ensure timely completion of installations

Must‑have Requirements
  • Current CCNSG certification
  • Recognised vocational qualification in pipefitting
  • Proven experience of working on industrial or power station projects

Nice‑to‑have Skills
  • Experience with boiler installations and large-scale power generation plant
  • Knowledge of welding techniques and piping materials
  • Familiarity with pressure systems and relevant standards
