What is an Employer of Record?
For businesses to employ workers in a new country, they’ll need a legal business entity that satisfies local regulations, which can be lengthy and expensive to set-up. We work with organisations to compliantly hire candidates under salaried Employer of Record solutions in overseas jurisdictions on their behalf, removing the requirement for them to open new in-country entities to hire workers directly.
Through an Employer of Record solution, the company’s employment partner is responsible for onboarding, paying and managing the legal aspects of the worker’s employment, such as visas and payroll deductions in line with local taxation. This shifts the responsibility for ensuring compliance with in-country local regulations to the employment partner, allowing the company to focus on their day-to-day operations and mitigate employment risks.
