On behalf of our client, NRL are currently recruiting for a Plant Operator for work in the Stoke area.
 
 Location: Stoke ST1 
 Duration:  10.02.26 – 09.08.26 (6 months)
 Hours :   Mon-Fri 39 hours per week
 Mandatory requirement: a minimum of City and Guilds in a mechanical discipline or NVQ equivalent 
 
The Role
An opportunity exists at our clients Stoke Cylinder Re-Test Facility working in the cylinder refurbishment area.  Work will involve inspection and re-validation of industrial gas cylinders. Flexibility is a key requirement as you will be required to work in other areas as business demands.

Applications are sought from candidates with a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship, plus at least 5 years further experience in a recognised engineering discipline.

Work will involve: 
 - cylinder, valve and pack inspection 
- refurbishment and re-validation of both industrial and integrated products 
- awareness and understanding of Health & Safety requirements 
- fault inspections and escalations 
- willingness and flexibility to take on other duties as required 
  
Candidates will have: 
- a minimum of City and Guilds in a mechanical discipline or NVQ equivalent 
- a can-do attitude and the desire to work on your own initiative 
- a positive and energetic attitude towards work 
- A forklift truck licence would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
