Summary We’re looking for qualified Electricians to join an industrial project in Royston. This is a long-term contract starting as soon as possible, working on a large-scale installation with substantial overtime opportunities and accommodation provided. Ideal for electricians with JIB status who are seeking consistent work and excellent earnings.

Salary

• JIB PAYE rates plus £2.37 per hour bonus

• Graded Electrician:
  • Basic: £22.28 per hour (including holiday pay)
  • Overtime 1.5: £32.85 per hour
  • Overtime 2: £43.80 per hour
• Approved Electrician:
  • Basic: £24.17 per hour (including holiday pay)
  • Overtime 1.5: £35.62 per hour
  • Overtime 2: £47.50 per hour

Location and Working Pattern

• Location: Royston
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 9 months (until February 2027)
• Hours: 11-day fortnight
  • Monday to following Wednesday: 06:45 – 17:45 (10 days)
  • Second Thursday: 06:45 – 13:15 (travel day)

Client Overview Our client operates in the engineering and industrial sector, delivering major electrical installations on complex projects nationwide.
Responsibilities

• Install and maintain industrial electrical systems
• Fit and secure cable racks and trays
• Terminate and route steel wire armoured and instrument cables
• Work with hazardous area equipment where required
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and site procedures
• Collaborate effectively with site teams to meet project deadlines

Must-have Requirements

• Valid JIB card (essential)
• Previous industrial installation experience
• Strong understanding of cable management and electrical terminations

Nice-to-have Skills

• Experience with hazardous area installations
• Knowledge of instrumentation cabling practices
