Job Title

Civil Supervisor 


Summary

We’re recruiting a Civil Supervisor for the Sofia Offshore Windfarm Project, based at our client’s offices close to Redcar. This is an excellent opportunity for a site-based professional with strong knowledge of civil works and safety compliance. The role is initially for 4–6 weeks, with the potential for extension. 


Salary

CIS £400–£500 per day


Location and Working Pattern

Site-based at Redcar offices, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.


Client Overview

Our client is delivering works as part of the Sofia Offshore Windfarm Project, a major renewable energy investment supporting the UK’s transition to sustainable energy.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day civil works on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications
  • Monitor and enforce health and safety standards in all site activities
  • Review and maintain safety documents, permits and risk assessments for civil operations
  • Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to support safe and efficient delivery
  • Address site issues promptly and escalate concerns where required
  • Maintain accurate records of work progress and safety checks
  • Provide site inductions and toolbox talks for personnel involved in civils works

 

Must-have Requirements

  • Valid SSSTS certification
  • Proven experience working in a live environment with accountability for safety compliance
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering processes and site operations
  • Previous responsibility for maintaining or controlling safety documentation for civils works

 

Nice-to-have Skills

  • First Aid at Work certification
  • Knowledge of offshore or renewable energy projects
  • Experience supervising multiple contractors on complex projects
  • Ability to review and update method statements and risk assessments
