Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all construction activities across civil works packages
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to maintain project performance
• Maintain accurate programme tracking and proactively resolve any delays or issues
• Drive full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all works
• Ensure quality assurance procedures and specifications are adhered to throughout delivery
• Oversee site resources, logistics, and planning to maintain operational efficiency
• Provide progress reports, risk assessments, and leadership input to the wider project team

 

Must-have Requirements

• Substantial experience as a Construction Manager or senior site lead within civil engineering
• In-depth knowledge of groundworks, structures, and associated site operations
• Strong leadership capability with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams
• Excellent understanding of health and safety legislation and site compliance requirements
• Effective communication and organisational skills for managing stakeholders and reporting
