Our client is a leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) organisation delivering major energy and infrastructure projects across the UK. They are committed to setting industry standards in safety, quality and innovation.


Responsibilities

• Carry out commissioning activities on control and instrumentation systems.
• Conduct loop checks, function tests, and system verification to ensure compliance.
• Review design documentation and provide commissioning input during project phases.
• Develop and execute commissioning plans and procedures aligned with project requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the commissioning phase.
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation for project records.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to meet commissioning deadlines.
• Ensure all activities adhere to safety standards and quality requirements.

Must-have Requirements

• Proven experience commissioning control and instrumentation systems.
• Strong understanding of DCS, PLC systems, and associated field instrumentation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of commissioning processes, safety regulations, and testing protocols.
• Degree or HNC/HND in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or similar discipline.

Nice-to-have Skills

• Familiarity with major EPC project environments (oil & gas, energy, or process industries).
• Experience with calibration tools and fieldbus systems.
• COMPEX or EC&I certifications.
