Client Overview Our client is a leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) organisation delivering major energy and infrastructure projects across the UK. They are committed to setting industry standards in safety, quality and innovation.
Responsibilities- Carry out commissioning activities on control and instrumentation systems.
- Conduct loop checks, function tests, and system verification to ensure compliance.
- Review design documentation and provide commissioning input during project phases.
- Develop and execute commissioning plans and procedures aligned with project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the commissioning phase.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation for project records.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to meet commissioning deadlines.
- Ensure all activities adhere to safety standards and quality requirements.
Must-have Requirements- Proven experience commissioning control and instrumentation systems.
- Strong understanding of DCS, PLC systems, and associated field instrumentation.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of commissioning processes, safety regulations, and testing protocols.
- Degree or HNC/HND in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or similar discipline.
Nice-to-have Skills- Familiarity with major EPC project environments (oil & gas, energy, or process industries).
- Experience with calibration tools and fieldbus systems.
- COMPEX or EC&I certifications.
