Customer Service Administrator

 

Summary

We’re recruiting for a Customer Service Administrator to join our client based in Edinburgh on an initial temporary contract of at least one month, with the potential for a longer-term role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and organisational skills who enjoys delivering quality service in a busy environment.

 

Location and Working Pattern

Edinburgh – on-site

 

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday, 08:15 – 16:30 and Friday, 08:15 – 12:50

 

Client Overview 

Our trusted client is a well-established business offering a friendly and dynamic working environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders accurately in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Co-ordinate queries with clients to ensure all data is accurate and up to date.
  • Carry out general administrative tasks including photocopying, filing, mail distribution, and secure document disposal.
  • Sign for deliveries and manage associated documentation.
  • Provide cover for other Customer Service team members when required, including reception duties.

 

Must-have Requirements

  • Proficiency across all Microsoft Office applications with fast and accurate keyboard skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Ability to pass a basic credit check before starting the assignment.

 

Nice-to-have Skills

  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role.
