Summary We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to deliver major building services packages as part of a large construction programme in Newcastle. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven ability to manage electrical works throughout every stage of the project lifecycle. Client Overview Our client is a well-established construction organisation with a successful track record in delivering complex commercial and residential developments to the highest industry standards.
Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate all phases of the electrical and wider MEP services project delivery cycle: pre-construction, planning, installation, testing, and commissioning
- Oversee implementation of all MEP deliverables and ensure compliance with specifications and requirements
- Coordinate with design teams to secure timely and accurate technical information for installation works
- Monitor project programmes, review progress, and ensure all works stay on schedule
- Inspect electrical installations against agreed quality plans and enforce best practice
- Maintain the highest standards of site safety and compliance at all times
- Collaborate effectively with subcontractors, design teams, and the overall project team
Must-have Requirements- Relevant third-level qualification in Building Services, Mechanical & Electrical, or an Electrical Trade background
- Strong experience (7+ years) in building services coordination, ideally with previous main contractor exposure
- Proven experience on commercial and residential projects
- Excellent IT skills and familiarity with project management tools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
