Job Title: Facilities Subcontract Manager

Location: Padeswood 

Overview:

Looking to engage a highly motivated and experienced individual to join there clients Onshore Construction Teams based onshore in Project within the UK.

The Facilities Subcontract Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating subcontractor service requirements regarding welfare, personnel mobilisation equipment/material laydown, waste disposal. This role serves as the primary liaison between contracts team, project construction team and subcontractors, ensuring smooth communication, compliance with project requirements, and efficient workflow on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Member of the site construction management team responsible for the coordination, supervision and management of the subcontractors.
• Overall responsibility for managing the Project Welfare Facilities, including all services and disposal requirements.
• Overall ‘Personnel On Site’ level management.
• Laydown and sub-contractor equipment coordination.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractor work in alignment with project timelines, milestones, and critical paths.
• Scaffold coordination management.
• Review and track subcontractor contracts, scope of work, insurance certificates, safety plans, and compliance documents.
• Communicate project updates, changes, and deadlines to subcontractors and internal teams.
• Conduct pre-construction and coordination meetings with subcontractors to clarify expectations and resolve conflicts.
• Monitor subcontractor performance in quality, safety, and productivity; report issues to the Contracts Manager and Site Manager.
• Ensure that subcontractors adhere to site safety standards, quality control requirements, and project specifications.
• Verify completion of work for progress payments and assist with invoice and payment tracking.
• Maintain accurate daily records, reports, and logs of subcontractor activities and site conditions.
• Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts, material shortages, or scope discrepancies.
• Collaborate with contracts team for subcontractor selection and contract preparation.
• Have a working knowledge of all Safety Legislation in force and associated responsibilities including but not limited to;
  • Client Induction’s
  • Permits to work
  • CDM Regulations
  • Assessing and approving Method Statements
  • COSHH requirements
  • Implements the Construction Safety Plan

Qualifications:

• Required Training: 
  • CSCS (Black or Gold)
