HR Associate – 6-Month Contract
Summary Join a leading manufacturing company as an HR Associate on an initial 6-month contract, based in Glasgow City Centre with hybrid working option. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on HR operations experience, strong system knowledge and the capability to support both transactional processes and wider HR activities.
Location and Working Pattern
Glasgow City Centre – hybrid working (onsite presence required on agreed days).

Responsibilities
- Manage HRIS platforms including Workday and SAP SuccessFactors.
- Provide comprehensive HR support across a range of transactional activities.
- Assist in payroll processes and ensure accurate data flow between systems.
- Support with employee relations queries in line with employment law and company policy.
- Drive standardisation and automation of HR processes.
- Monitor and manage absence, sickness, and time and attendance systems.
- Coordinate onboarding activities and support redundancy processes as needed.
Must-have Requirements
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent practical HR experience.
- Background in HR helpdesk or shared service support, including transactional HR processes.
- Hands-on experience with Workday or SAP SuccessFactors.
- Knowledge of core HR processes such as onboarding, absence management, and redundancy.
Nice-to-have Skills
- Familiarity with payroll processes.
- Experience collaborating with trade unions.
