Intermediate Structural Engineers Required to Support Life Sciences Projects Location: Dublin and Cork
Intermediate Structural Engineer General Summary As an intermediate structural engineer you will be required to work within the structural team under the direction of a lead engineer. Duties may include undertaking design calculations and reports, attending internal design team meetings, attendance at client review meetings, checking structural drawings, etc.
Overall Expectations:- Be able to produce structural design calculations and reports for specific elements of the project.
- Work with the structural team to assist with the development of the 3d Revit model, and then be able to review and check drawings.
- Actively cooperate with members of your project task force, client personnel and members of your department, as appropriate.
- Understand client expectations, as determined by the team, and constantly strive to achieve or better these.
- Meet commitments that you make to the client, individually or as a team, to complete work by certain dates or within agreed man-hour or cost budgets.
Qualifications- Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
- Chartered engineer Preferable.
- Technically proficient with Eurocode, BSI and Irish design standards and codes.
- Proficient with structural design software (TEKLA Designer, etc).
- Excellent communications skills.
- 5years experience in the design of building structures.
