Invoicing Controller – Liverpool Bay Project – Outside IR35

Summary

We’re seeking an Invoicing Controller to support the ENI Liverpool Bay Project (Decommissioning and Carbon Capture and Storage). Based on-site in Talacre, Wales, this contract role is ideal for someone with experience in invoice processing who wants to work on an exciting energy sector project.

Location and Working Pattern

Talacre, Wales – full-time, 5.5 days per week (Saturday morning as and when required)

Responsibilities

• Collect and review incoming invoices from vendors and suppliers
• Identify and categorise invoices for back charging to clients
• Prepare supporting documentation for invoices to be back charged
• Maintain accurate records of received and back charged invoices
• Generate regular reports on invoice status and progress
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth invoicing processes

 

Must-have Requirements

• 0.5–2 years’ experience in invoicing activities
• HNC or certification in Economics
• Ability to read invoices and collect data accurately
• Basic SAP knowledge
• Proficiency in Excel

 

Nice-to-have Skills

• Familiarity with invoicing within energy or large-scale engineering projects
• Strong communication and organisational skills
