About You

This position is offered on a hybrid basis in Ireland, with on‑site presence in the Dublin office as required by team scheduling.

-Bachelor’s degree required; Chartered status is an advantage but not mandatory

-10 years of recognised expertise in the field (mechanical engineering, data centres, or industrial/high‑tech and commercial environments)

-At least 3 years of people management experience leading multidisciplinary teams (consultants, engineers, etc.)

-Minimum 3 years of project management experience across electrical and mechanical engineering initiatives

-Exceptional communication, presentation, and organisational capabilities

-Proven ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of an organisation

-Strong commitment to innovation and emerging technologies

-Dedicated to upholding best‑in‑class design processes and engineering standards within the company.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

-Review technical designs to ensure complete understanding of project scope and intent

-Identify opportunities to enhance functionality and optimise project costs

-Foster strong collaboration between mechanical and electrical teams

-Lead a high‑performing team, championing quality assurance, quality control, and timely delivery

-Track project costs and drive innovative solutions to reduce expenses across the group

-Support resource planning and management, including outsourcing requirements

-Interpret and work within contract terms, conditions, and parameters

-Keep senior management informed about emerging industry trends, products, and technologies

-Support business development activities in collaboration with senior leadership

-Communicate effectively with external stakeholders including clients, suppliers, partners, and vendors

-Build and maintain strong relationships with external business partners

-Represent the group within the wider organisation, contributing to continuous improvement of QA procedures

-Oversee the delivery of multiple large‑scale projects

-Support team development through monthly 1‑to‑1s and ongoing informal engagement

-Train and mentor junior team members; create corrective action plans when needed

-Ensure the team stays up to date with new and relevant technologies
