Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation, alignment and inspection of rotating machinery in compliance with project standards and protocols
• Oversee mechanical teams to ensure safe and efficient execution of works
• Monitor quality assurance documentation and verify adherence to specifications
• Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues during installation
• Review and approve work permits aligned to nuclear site safety protocols
• Support planning of activities to meet project milestones
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce safety compliance on-site
• Identifying materials and tools/equipment required to execute the works within the discipline
• Communication directly with site management to resolve and/or clarify any technical issues
• Ensuring full adherence to client and site Quality and EHS policy across discipline works
• Schedule and organise inspections and test as per site inspection and test plan
• Prepare data on overall progress, completed activity, forecast to completion, problems encountered, EHS reports, non-conformances, cost management and manpower reports

 
Must-have Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, a related discipline or equivalent experience
• Demonstrable experience supervising rotating machinery installation in heavy industry or energy projects
• Strong technical expertise in mechanical systems and rotating equipment
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
