Mechanical Supervisor

📍 Skelton, North Yorkshire 💷 £35.00 per hour (CIS) ⏳ 9-Month Contract 🕒 42 Hours Per Week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a major construction project in Skelton, North Yorkshire, overseeing the mechanical installation works on a new primary school development.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a well-established project, managing mechanical trades and ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising mechanical installation activities on site
• Coordinating subcontractors and site operatives
• Monitoring health & safety compliance
• Ensuring works are carried out in line with programme requirements
• Liaising with site management, clients, and other trades
• Conducting quality inspections and ensuring high standards of workmanship
• Managing site paperwork and progress reporting

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on commercial or public sector construction projects
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services installations
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• Valid CSCS card
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to drive programme and quality standards on site
