Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Proposals Co-ordinator to join a major nuclear project team based in Leatherhead on a hybrid working model. This role is ideal for someone with strong bid coordination and document management skills who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Salary £33.00 – £48.00 per hour (Ltd company)


Location and Working Pattern Leatherhead – Hybrid working (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)


Client Overview
Our client is a leading engineering and technical services provider, working across nuclear and government programmes in the UK. Their projects cover the full lifecycle, from new builds and operations to decommissioning and waste management.


Responsibilities
  • Support the bid process from receipt of ITT through to final submission.
  • Coordinate preparation, review, and submission of bids, PQQs, SQs, and capability statements.
  • Ensure proposals meet client requirements and branding guidelines.
  • Manage document production activities such as formatting, proofreading, and version control.
  • Track and incorporate reviewer feedback throughout proposal development.
  • Maintain submission plans, schedules, and actions to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Facilitate kick-off meetings, reviews, and lessons learned sessions.
  • Liaise with technical, commercial, legal, and supply chain teams for input.
  • Manage registrations and submissions via client e-sourcing portals (e.g., Ariba, Jaggaer, Achilles).

Must-have Requirements
  • UK sole nationality and eligibility for security clearance.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in bid coordination or management, ideally within nuclear or government sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with high attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Word skills; proficient with Office 365 and SharePoint.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

Nice-to-have Skills
  • Familiarity with nuclear sector bid processes and standards.
  • Previous experience with UK nuclear clients such as Sizewell C, Sellafield Ltd or EDF.
  • Knowledge of regulated industries such as energy, defence, or infrastructure.
