NRL have exciting opportunities for Principal Mechanical Design Engineers with one of our leading clients, Tenet Consultants Ltd. They are an innovative multi-discipline engineering and design consultancy, with headquarters in Warrington. Tenet have now opened up a new office in Anglesey, North Wales and are seeking to engage local personnel to join their team.

As an Engineering Design Consultancy, Tenet provide niche design and technical services to a variety of industry sectors, primarily Nuclear. Their mechanical design activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Concept & Front End Engineering Design (FEED) Studies
  • Equipment Specification
  • Detail Design
  • Engineering Substantiation
  • Specialist Mechanical Handling Design
  • Mechanical Piping Design
  • Manufacture installation and Commissioning Support
  • Periodic Safety Reviews
  • Lifetime Quality Records (LQR)
  • Safety System Design
  • Independent Nuclear Safety Assessment (INSA) & Peer Review

 

What You Will Need:

  • Experience working within a highly regulated industry, preferably Nuclear.
  • HNC minimum, ideally degree qualified and a Chartered Engineer.
  • Able to lead teams and develop younger engineers.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform mechanical design calculations, produce technical specifications and requisitions, datasheets, perform technical bid evaluations.
  • Checking of design documentation.
  • All candidates must have the ability to obtain BPSS.
  • AutoCAD, Inventor, General Microsoft Office package.
