Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage technical aspects of civil engineering packages on site
- Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and design details to facilitate works
- Coordinate site activities with the construction team and subcontractors
- Conduct quality checks and ensure works meet technical and safety standards
- Monitor progress against programme and report on key milestones
- Support issue resolution and provide technical guidance where needed
- Maintain accurate documentation, including site records and inspection reports
- Previous experience in a Project Engineer or Site Engineer role within civil engineering
- Strong understanding of groundworks, structures, and associated civil works
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Good working knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
- Strong organisational and communication skills for liaison with site teams and stakeholders
