Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of delivering major infrastructure works and gantry installations as part of a major development in Newcastle. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with experience coordinating complex infrastructure phases, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with strict technical specifications. If you are confident in managing structural installations and key civil components, this is an excellent opportunity to lead from the front.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the planning and execution of infrastructure works and structural gantry installations
  • Oversee site coordination for all activities related to major temporary and permanent works
  • Ensure compliance with technical drawings, design specifications, and quality benchmarks
  • Monitor health, safety, and environmental standards, enforcing compliance across all teams
  • Liaise with structural engineers, subcontractors, and key supply chain partners to ensure timely delivery
  • Track progress against programme milestones and swiftly resolve any operational challenges
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle
Must-have Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager on civil or structural engineering projects
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience of infrastructure works and gantry installations
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality standards for high-risk construction environments
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-moving setting
  • Competence in project management tools and industry-standard IT systems
