Quantity Surveyor

NRL are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their clients team on a permanent basis.

Location: Stockton-on-Tees

Sector: Commercial Construction / Mechanical & Electrical Installations

Join a well‑established and highly respected organisation delivering major mechanical and electrical (M&E) installations across commercial and construction sectors. With a strong pipeline of projects and a reputation for quality, safety, and technical excellence, the company continues to grow and is now seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to strengthen its commercial team.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the commercial and financial aspects of construction projects from tender through to final account. Working from the Stockton-on-Tees office, you will support project delivery teams, ensure accurate cost control, and contribute to the successful completion of major M&E installation works.

• Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans
  
  
• Conduct detailed measurement, valuations, and cost analysis
  
  
• Manage subcontractor procurement, tendering, and contract administration
  
  
• Assess and certify subcontractor applications and variations
  
  
• Prepare monthly CVRs, financial reports, and cashflow projections
  
  
• Support project teams with commercial guidance and risk management
  
  
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
  
  
• Assist with final accounts and ensure contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle
