Summary
We’re working with a major EPC company looking for an experienced Telecoms Commissioning Engineer for a significant project based in North Wales. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with telecoms commissioning experience in large industrial environments, seeking stability in a 12‑month contract.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement testing and commissioning procedures for telecom systems
  • Verify installations in collaboration with engineering and construction teams
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry regulations
  • Produce detailed commissioning reports and required documentation
  • Support system integration and resolve technical issues during handover
  • Maintain effective communication with vendors for technical assistance

Must‑have Requirements
  • Proven track record in commissioning telecom systems on large industrial or EPC projects
  • Strong knowledge of telecom technologies including fibre optics, PABX, VoIP, CCTV, PA/GA systems and radios
  • Familiarity with relevant safety and industry standards
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and team collaboration abilities

Nice‑to‑have Skills
  • Prior experience in oil & gas, power generation or similar sectors
  • Knowledge of commissioning management tools and software
  • Formal telecoms or electrical engineering certification
