Summary We’re looking for an experienced Temporary Works Co-ordinator to manage the design, delivery and implementation of temporary works. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge and a collaborative approach, who can ensure compliance and high standards across all temporary works activities.
Location and Working Pattern Location: NZT Teesside (middlesbrough)
Working pattern: On-site
Client Overview Our client is a leading construction and infrastructure organisation known for delivering innovative and complex projects. They have a strong focus on safety, quality and sustainability across every aspect of their work.
Responsibilities

• Coordinate with all parties involved in the design and construction of temporary works.
• Liaise with clients to determine if schemes impact the public and manage approval processes.
• Compile and regularly update Temporary Works Schedules and review with designers and project leads.
• Ensure that an adequate Temporary Works design is produced and approved.
• Supervise and assess the competence of Temporary Works Supervisors alongside the Project Lead.
• Review the design brief for adequacy before issuing it to the designer.
• Monitor the timing of designs, checks and construction to align with project schedules.
• Oversee inspections and ensure temporary works are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Must-have Requirements

• Relevant experience in temporary works to match the type and complexity of the assigned project.
• Completion of an industry-approved Temporary Works Co-ordinator (TWC) training course, or an equivalent update/refresher course.
• Knowledge of Temporary Works procedures and the ability to implement them effectively.
• Evidence of competence through recent training, knowledge and experience within the last 2 years.

Nice-to-have Skills

• Formal qualifications such as HNC or Degree (desirable but not essential).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
