Summary
We’re seeking reliable Warehouse Operatives to support our client’s distribution centre in Washington on an ongoing temporary assignment, running until approximately December/January If you have a strong work ethic, good attention to detail and are comfortable with active, physical work, this role could be ideal for you.

Salary

• Weeks 1–4:
  
  • Mon-Sun 1st 38.75 hours: £12.71 + holiday credit £1.53 = total payable £14.24
  • Mon-Sun after 38.75 hours: £19.07 + holiday credit £1.59 = total payable £20.65
  • Sun if Sat worked and Bank Hol: £25.42 + holiday credit £2.12 = total payable £27.54
• After 4 weeks:
  
  • Mon-Sun 1st 38.75 hours: £13.82 + holiday credit £2.01 = total payable £15.83
  • Mon-Sun after 38.75 hours: £20.73 + holiday credit £1.73 = total payable £22.46
  • Sun if Sat worked and Bank Hol: £27.64 + holiday credit £2.30 = total payable £29.94

Location and Working Pattern

• Location: Washington
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating weekly between:
  • 06:00 – 14:15
  • 11:00 – 19:15
• Candidates must be able to work both shifts.

Duration: Dec/Jan 

Client Overview Our client runs a high-volume distribution centre, ensuring important stock flows efficiently during peak operational periods.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries safely and efficiently
• Accurately pick and prepare customer orders
• Pack goods securely for dispatch
• Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting
• Inflate footballs when required
• Keep the warehouse tidy and organised

Must-have Requirements

• Ability to carry out physically demanding work
• Flexibility to work on a rotating shift pattern
• Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic

Nice-to-have Skills

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution setting
