Our North East team were delighted to lend their recruitment expertise to the High Tide Foundation in March.
The independent charity works with local young people in schools and colleges in the Tees Valley area through a dedicated work experience and careers programme – including working in partnership with Speakers for School to deliver industry insight days.
The current situation has meant the two charities have had to take this initiative online, to deliver virtual sessions with students, helping to ensure they’re still able to access the support they need.
Sessions are designed to help young people in the local area connect with business people, whilst gaining invaluable insight into the world of work.
In support of this, NRL took part in a virtual insight day on 3rd March, alongside other local businesses for local secondary school children. The interactive session provided insight into how to establish and market a business - including advice around the use of social media in the world of work.
