NRL are celebrating securing position two in the annual Recruiter Hot 10 STEM listing. The report, which compiles the top 10 recruitment organisations by productivity working within engineering, technical and science sectors, is published each year by Recruiter magazine.

It follows extensive financial analysis by the team at Agile Intelligence, who first identify those organisations who have earned a spot in the larger Recruiter Hot 100 industry wide report, before turning their attention to the top performers by sector.

Reviewing how businesses performed during the 2020 financial year, organisations recorded a tough year of trading - including the delay and postponement of several engineering projects. Despite the difficult environment, NRL were singled out in the STEM review for their robust performance and stability across their specialist engineering sectors, as cyclical projects recommenced in the second half of the year.

The Hot 10 STEM recruiter listing also highlighted that whilst the report had historically focused on traditional oil and gas activity in its infancy, last year continued to see a steady increase in renewable energy related fields.

Discussing NRL’s inclusion in the Hot 10, CEO David Redmayne said,

“Having supported key engineering sectors across the UK and internationally for over three decades, it is extremely rewarding to have achieved second position for our STEM recruitment expertise, as well as being recognised as the highest placed engineering recruiter in the wider Hot 100 listing.

It is an exciting time for the engineering sector, as we continue to help our clients with their energy transition plans. It is also rewarding to see this adoption of renewable and green energy generation creating career opportunities now and for future generations.”
