Each year our recruitment team, based in Egremont, are delighted to be able to support the Pride of Cumbria Awards as event sponsors – joining other local businesses who are keen to praise and celebrate the selfless work happening within their local community.
This year the team, led by Director Rebecca Graves, will continue their sponsorship of the NHS Worker of the Year category, which provides a fantastic opportunity to reward individuals who work so tirelessly to care for others.
Other award categories also demonstrate the wide sense of community spirit and kindness residents see every day across the region, which Rebecca explains is why it is so important for NRL to be involved each year:

The Pride of Cumbria Awards 2022 winners will be revealed at a much-anticipated award ceremony at Whitehaven Golf Club on Thursday 23rd June, which NRL’s Egremont team are thrilled to be attending.
Winners will be announced for all award categories – Neighbour of the Year; Young Person of the Year; Community Business of the Year; Charity of the Year; NHS Workers of the Year; Caring for the Community Award; COVID-19 Community Champion of the Year; Education Hero of the Year; Keyworker of the Year; Community Group of the Year and Outstanding Contribution of the Year. With the shortlist made up of local residents who give their time so willingly to help others and local Cumbria businesses who are helping to make a big difference.
