NesmaKent supports Saudi Arabia’s National EPC Champion Initiative by delivering engineering, procurement and construction capability for major Aramco projects in Al‑Khobar. Operating under the Nama’at (Industrial Investment Program), the joint venture plays a key role in strengthening in‑kingdom EPC capacity, enabling the delivery of complex energy and infrastructure programmes through the rapid mobilisation of experienced technical expertise.
NRL was engaged by NesmaKent to support the recruitment of expatriate professionals to strengthen EPC project delivery in Al-Khobar, as part of Saudi Arabia’s National EPC Champion Initiative. This forms part of the wider Nama’at (Industrial Investment Program).
Initially, NRL’s International Recruitment team focused on sourcing experienced engineers from Egypt, before expanding the search across the wider MENA and APAC regions as project demand increased and workforce requirements scaled rapidly.
Over a five-month period, NRL supported the delivery of more than 110 vacancies, covering mid, senior and lead-level Technical Engineers and Designers. In total, over 700 candidates were interviewed, with 241 suitable professionals selected who met the client’s technical and commercial criteria.
Throughout the assignment, NRL managed candidate progression end-to-end, coordinating technical interviews with NesmaKent’s hiring managers and providing ongoing support through the selection process. Drawing on strong sector knowledge and a detailed understanding of the KSA market, the team delivered consistently high-quality candidate shortlists, proactively identifying and resolving any issues prior to submission. This structured, insight-led approach resulted in a high level of offer conversion and enabled NesmaKent to build momentum and capacity across a critical phase of project delivery.
