NRL are currently recruiting for a Architect/Senior Architect to join one of our large clients based in Birmingham for an initial 6 months contract.
Key requirements for this role are strong design skills, strong communication skills with a collaborative working and positive, can-do attitude. Strong project leadership and technical skills with the ability to control all aspects of project delivery. Strong design coordination and collaboration skills with the ability to work and assume a key role within multi-disciplinary design team are an essential aspect of this role. You will need to be able to work independently and take design responsibility for decision-making and output deliverables.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Qualified Architect in the UK with professional registration
Degree in Architecture and/or Urban Design
Professional experience of the delivery multi-disciplinary design and construction projects
MA or MSc higher education qualification to RIBA Part 3
Knowledge of BIM based delivery including Autodesk Revit
Strong Design Drawing and written communication skills
Advanced English language skills
Ability to lead Architectural teams on large multi-disciplinary design projects.
Strong Inter-disciplinary design coordination
Strong problem solving, attention to detail, with a desire to come up with practical solutions.
Highly self-motivated with ability to work unsupervised.
Team player able to work collaboratively in project teams.
Proactive working mindset with flexible-working approach – able to work on a wide range of design projects.
Knowledge of Revit and software platforms and tools including BIM 360, NBS Specification
Desirable:
Knowledge of multiple design sectors including complex infrastructure projects
Ability to travel within the UK and Europe to periodically to support project delivery.
