NRL are currently recruiting for Commissioning Engineers to work for a well known engineering company based in Wallsend.

Reporting to the production supervisor, we're looking for a multi-disciplined engineer with a ’hands on’ approach. You will be required to interact with a team of technicians and provide technical support to projects throughout the company

The candidate must have a positive attitude and be a leader. This is a challenging role and requires someone with excellent communication skills who can work independently and liaise between Customers, Engineering and Project Managers to provide clients with quality product, commissioned to the requirements of the project and specification.

Duties:

  • Support in producing detailed documentation to ensure products are commissioned to meet the contractual specification and will meet the Customer requirements.

  • Manage technical issues that arise during the commissioning and FAT process.

  • Check the commissioning and FAT process has been completed correctly and results are within specification.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Sound working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.

  • Excellent understanding of SMD equipment.

  • Strong leadership and logistical skills.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Project.

  • HND in a relevant subject (or working towards)

  • Customer friendly and able to appreciate the client’s needs.
