On behalf of our client, NRL Recruitment are looking for a Contract Supervisor, for work in the Bellshill area on a residential contract covering 16,000 homes across southern Scotland.

Dealing with planned and reactive maintenance and remedial works, we are looking for someone with a Technical background to take on a lead position overseeing 7 M&E engineers.

You will visit site to do fault finding, diagnostics & fabric repairs but 80% of the role is office based taking quotes, allocating jobs, dealing with client queries, emails, KPIs & SLA. Also, some personal development for reports including PDP etc.

CAFM experience – Maximo, Plan-on or Evolution ideal.

Duration: Perm

Hours: 8am – 5pm plus OOH Rota

Rate:   £39,455 + business use car (Electric) – charging unit fitted outside house free of charge. Out of hours rota. £100 per week plus any hours paid for call out as overtime.

Who are we looking for:

  • A recognised industry qualification will be required, and previous experience is essential.

  • Ideally IOSH qualified. and asbestos awareness

  • MEWP Licence (preferable but not essential)

  • First aid trained (preferable but not essential)

  • Computer literate

  • Good communicator with internal Services, the client, other service partners and 

  • Able to deal diplomatically with the client’s demanding personnel.

  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.

  • Able to work as part of a team.

  • Flexible and adaptable to change.


What will you deliver?

  • Experience in multi-skilled, Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.

  • Team Leadership Skills and experience and able to Prioritise and work to agreed deadlines and timescales.

  • Familiar with industry H&S Standards

  • Safe Supervision of all personnel including the Management of Specialist Sub-Contractors

  • Prepare and check all task related Risk Assessments, Method Statements and COSHH

  • Ability to provide Technical Assistance to other Engineers and Mentor as appropriate.

  • Experience and knowledge of CAFM systems.

  • Manage and monitor Planned Preventative Maintenance [PPM] and Reactive Repairs

  • Maintain all Compliance Records and Certification to the standard required by Legislation.

  • Ensure all jobs are prepared for invoicing correctly and timeously.

  • Manage WIP (Work in Progress)

  • Deliver customer satisfaction in accordance with the agreed KPI’s mandated under the

  • SLA/Contract

  • Taking appropriate action as required and being prepared for contingencies.

  • Encourage self-development to improve both own performance and that of the team.
