The role carries full accountability for health & safety, environmental compliance, service performance and customer outcomes. You will operate in a public-facing, politically sensitive environment with direct responsibility for operational standards and results.
What you will need
- Proven experience managing street cleansing, waste, environmental or public-realm operations
- Demonstrable leadership of a large operational workforce (circa 50+ operatives)
- Strong working knowledge of H&S, RAMS, COSHH, CDM and environmental compliance
- Experience managing fleet, depots, plant and operational assets
- Track record of delivering contractual KPIs, budgets and service performance in a regulated environment
