Our client is on the lookout for a Highways Inspector. You will deliver General and Principal Inspections (GIs & PIs) across a busy Central London highways network, ensuring structural assets remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose. This is a hands-on inspection role requiring demonstrable experience in highway structures, technical reporting and safety-led delivery. You will split your time between site-based inspections and detailed office reporting, working to defined programmes and performance targets.

 

What you will need

  • Degree in Civil Engineering and demonstrable experience undertaking General and Principal Inspections of highway structures.
  • Strong working knowledge of bridge condition indicators and inspection reporting to client specifications.
  • Valid CSCS card, PTS (or BTA), Confined Space and IPAF certifications, plus a full UK driving licence.
  • Proven experience preparing and working to RAMS, with a clear commitment to high health & safety standards.
  • Experience leading or supporting structural inspections within highways (BridgeStation knowledge desirable).
